Niurys de Castro Suarez, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in translational PK/PD modeling, biologic product modeling, and clinical pharmacology. She is skilled in population pharmacokinetics, non-compartmental analysis, and pharmacometric approaches for biologic therapies. Her current research focuses on optimizing tuberculosis (TB) drug regimens and forecasting early bactericidal activity using quantitative methods. Prior to this role, she contributed to the pharmacokinetic modeling of monoclonal antibodies for both oncology and non-oncology indications, supporting model-informed drug development. She is committed to advancing personalized treatment strategies and improving therapeutic outcomes through rigorous modeling and simulation.
