John A. Wagner, M.D., Ph.D., is the Chief Medical Officer of Tempero Bio and an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Aditum Bio. With more than 25 years of drug development experience, John has led more than 150 first-in-human studies and has been instrumental in bringing numerous blockbuster programs to market. John’s experience in drug development includes senior leadership positions within biotech and large pharma companies, including Merck, where he was Vice President and Head, Early Development Pipeline and Projects, and Takeda, where he was Senior Vice President and Head, Translational Research and Early Clinical. His experience and expertise span a number of therapeutic areas, including neuroscience and immunology. Most recently, John was the Chief Medical Officer at Koneksa Health, leading innovations in digital biomarkers. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical and Translational Science and co-chairs the FINH Biomarkers Consortium Executive Committee. John is the author of more than 250 scientific publications. He holds an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine, and PhD from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience.
