Dr. Sathej Gopalakrishnan is currently employed at Merck KGaA, Germany, as Director of Clinical Pharmacology within the Quantitative Pharmacology department. Sathej supports projects across theraputic areas including neurology and immunology. Prior to joining Merck, he was employed at AbbVie in the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics group. He is passionate about applying clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics principles to impact drug development. Sathej also enjoys mentoring.

He received his PhD in Systems Biology with a thesis on mathematical modeling of viral dynamics under the Graduate Research Training Program PharMetrX at University of Potsdam, Germany.
