Patricia Sanwald Ducray, currently Distinguished Scientist at Roche in Switzerland, holds a PharmD and PhD degrees in addition to two Masters degrees from the University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg (France). Dr. Sanwald Ducray is a seasoned Clinical Pharmacologist and drug development Scientist, as well as a skillful and dynamic leader with more than 30 years of industry tenure. As such she brings a wealth of experience in the scientific, strategic and regulatory aspects of drug development across various therapeutic areas including Neuroscience, Rare Disease, Oncology, Metabolic Disease, Inflammation & Immunology. She has extensive expertise in both early and late stage development programs on different treatment modalities including traditional small molecules, monoclonal antibodies and peptides as well as more innovative modalities such as antisense oligonucleotides and gene therapy. She is passionate about designing efficient and informative Clinical Pharmacology strategies including healthy volunteers as well as patients. Dr. Sanwald Ducray has special interest in the application and development of innovative quantitative methods to integrate knowledge of pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacodynamics, patient characteristics and disease states to optimize doses, dosage regimens, study designs and expedite decision making throughout clinical drug development.
