Hyunwoo Koo, PharmD, MS, is a PhD student at Purdue University College of Pharmacy, conducting research in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He holds a master's degree in economics and is interested in research at the intersection of clinical pharmacology and economics, particularly in precision oncology and pharmacoeconomics. His work focuses on generating evidence to reduce the economic and health burdens caused by life-threatening adverse drug reactions in certain patients through preemptive pharmacogenetic testing. In his free time, he enjoys practicing Muay Thai, the traditional martial art of Thailand.
