Mattie Hartauer is a fourth year pharmaceutical sciences PhD student at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill working under the supervision of Dr. Kim Brouwer. Before coming to UNC, Mattie received her B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Purdue University in 2021. Mattie's research interests include the use of novel 3D in vitro systems for transporter assessment and physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling to assess transporter-mediated drug-drug interactions. She currently serves as the Membrane Transporter (MT) Community student liaison, assisting with collaborations between the MT community and Student & Trainee (ST) community.
