Dr. Irina Fofanova, PharmD, is a postdoctoral clinical pharmacogenomics fellow at the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island in May 2024 and obtained her pharmacist license in Florida in August 2024. Her role in clinical implementation science focuses on improving patient outcomes by optimizing drug therapy efficiency and minimizing toxicity through research, teaching, and service in genetically guided drug therapy decision-making. Her research interests include health, economic, and patient-reported outcomes within the field of pharmacogenetics.
