I am Felicia Gooden, Master's level educated Pharmacologist and PhD Candidate in Dr. Zachary Taylor's lab at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). My research is on the effects of mutations in the liver transporter SLCO1B1 that is responsible for hepatic clearance of methotrexate, a disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) used to treat juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in the pediatric population under 16 years old.
