Yurim is a fourth-year PharmD/MS student at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, with a strong academic and research interest in clinical pharmacology. Her current academic focus is on the application of pharmacometrics principles on her pharmacology fundamentals to optimize clinical research on pharmaceutical field.
During her past summer internships at the FDA, Yurim has completed projects in clinical data focusing on specific populations (e.g., race, sex, pediatrics). With her experience at the FDA along with her academic degree, Yurim aspires to pursue a career in clinical pharmacology and drug development following graduation by focusing on utilizing the pharmacometrics skill to enhance a clinical research in underrepresented population (e.g., patients with rare diseases).
