Earned Pharmacy and Nutritional Sciences degrees with honours at the University of Navarra (Spain) in 2018 and 2020. After several exchange programs at Cornell University (US), University of Suffolk (UK) and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) pursued a Masters in Bioinformatics and in 2021 joined the Computational Biology program at the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA, University of Navarra) as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Mikel Hernaez. Interested in the use of new computational tools to understand differential gene regulatory networks in metastatic castration-resistance prostate cancer associated with drug response. In 2022 was awarded with laCaixa Foundation fellowship and moved to Rochester (MN) for a research stay in the Pharmacogenomics and Drug Targets lab at Mayo Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Liewei Wang to functionally characterize these networks and test alternative effective therapies for resistant tumors.
