Clinical Pharmacology Fellow
University of California, San Francisco
I have completed a combined PharmD/PhD dual degree program at UC San Diego and I am now a UCSF T32 Clinical Pharmacology Fellow at the Savic Lab. My previous work focused on discovering the properties of the enzyme cathepsin B to develop novel substrates and inhibitors for various neurodegenerative diseases. I am now very interested in model development and learning how it can be used for optimizing drug dosing for understudied populations such as adolescents in need of treatment for tuberculosis. I aspire to build a career in Clinical Pharmacology and/or Pharmacometrics and hope to make meaningful contributions to the drug development field.
