Ahmed ELmokadem, PhD, is a Senior Scientist II at Metrum Research Group in the Quantitative and Systems Pharmacology group. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut. In addition to his role at Metrum Research Group, Ahmed is an adjunct professor at both the University of Connecticut and Indiana University. His extensive research experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including cancer, diabetes, and COVID-19. Ahmed has developed various models such as Physiologically-Based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models, Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) models, Bayesian population models, and machine learning algorithms. His contributions to these fields have been instrumental in advancing our understanding and treatment of complex diseases.
