Nawal A. Yahya, Ph.D., Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic
I received my Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota in 2022, where I investigated the molecular mechanism of action of the broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug, Praziquantel. I am a dedicated researcher with extensive research experiences in molecular pharmacology, pharmacometrics, and clinical pharmacology. Currently, I serve as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Mayo Clinic Division of Oncology Research, working under Dr. Joel Reid. In this role, I analyze preclinical and clinical trial data to predict drug behavior and guide clinical trial designs. I develop computational models to understand pharmacokinetics variability and provide personalized patient recommendations. I am passionate about advancing safe and effective therapies.
