I am a dedicated clinical pharmacy lecturer, practitioner, and researcher with over eight years of experience spanning academia, hospital settings, and clinical research.
Currently, I serve as an Assistant Lecturer in the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University, Egypt. I am also pursuing my PhD in Clinical Pharmacy at Beni Suef University, Egypt with a Joint Supervision in the Department for Pharmacotherapy & Translational Research, College of Pharmacy, University of Florida (UF), USA, under the mentorship of Dr. Julio Duarte, Associate Professor at UF.
My research expertise includes pharmacogenomics, having conducted pharmacogenetic studies at the UF Center for Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine. Additionally, I have developed strong proficiency in interpreting genetic testing reports and making clinical decisions in the Pharmacogenetic Consultation Clinic at UF Health.
Beyond research, I am deeply committed to enhancing patient care through pharmacotherapy optimization, medication error prevention, and the integration of pharmacogenetic testing into clinical practice. My passion for education has driven me to develop and implement clinical training programs that have strengthened the competencies of over 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application.
Furthermore, I have extensive experience in designing and conducting clinical trials and epidemiological studies aimed at addressing critical research gaps in clinical practice, ensuring evidence-based advancements in patient care.
