Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
Mayo Clinic
Caroline Grant, Ph.D. is a post-doctoral research fellow at Mayo Clinic, having received her PhD in molecular pharmacology and experimental therapeutics from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in March, 2025. Her thesis research focused on developing artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) workflows for analyzing multi-modal data across a variety of disease settings (major depressive disorder, cholangiopathies, heart failure). This included building a pipeline for large-scale exposomics data pre-processing, as well as using AI/ML to predict drug treatment outcomes and identify novel promising prognostic biomarkers. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2018 and volunteers on the steering committees of the translational informatics and student/trainee communities. Prior to graduate school, she earned a BA in neuroscience at Northwestern University, then spent two years as a research fellow at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
