Dr. van Groen is a pharmacist and a board-certified clinical pharmacologist, currently serving as a DMPK/PD project leader at Roche Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, she contributes to the research and development of small molecules and RNA therapeutics. Dr. van Groen earned her Ph.D. at the Erasmus MC – Sophia Children’s Hospital, where she focused on the ontogeny of drug metabolism and transport. Her work is driven by a passion for advancing drug therapy for special populations. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2016 and has served in leadership and committee roles on the Special Populations Community and the Webinar Committee.
