Professor, Head of Research
University of Southern Denmark
Tore B. Stage is a Professor of Translational Pharmacology and Head of Research at Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Environmental Medicine, University of Southern Denmark. He is known for a translational research program within chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and drug metabolism and transport. He was on the 2021-2022 Editor-In-Training for Clinical and Translational Science where he is now on the editorial board. The Stage laboratory combines human cell models with clinical studies and register-based research to perform both translational and reverse translational research. Recent discoveries of the Stage laboratory include neurofilament light chain as a biomarker of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and cytochrome P450 induction caused by isoxazolyl penicillins.
